Breakfast
is most important among the three main types of meal that you should have every
day. Most individuals think that having a healthy breakfast will impact the way
you function through the day.
Here are
recipes that you can try.
TORTILLA EGGS
Ingredients
12 eggs
1 teaspoon
salt
¼ cup
vegetable oil
4 6-inch
corn tortillas
¼ cup green
onions (chopped)
1
tablespoon fresh jalepeno pepper
1 cup
Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
1 cup
tomatoes
1/3 cup
cilantro (chopped)
Instructions
Cut
tortillas into 2-inch x 1/4-inch strips. Heat oil, add tortillas. Cook till
softened, about 15 seconds. Drain and add onions and minced jalepeno pepper. Stir
and cook for 2 minutes. Reduce heat; add eggs, tortilla strips and cook until
almost set. Add cheese, tomatoes and cilantro. Stir until the cheese melts and
egg is set.
Serving size: 6
BREAKFAST EGG
CASSEROLE
Ingredients
Butter
9 slices of
bread (remove crust)
2/3 pound
Velveeta cheese (cut in cubes)
9 eggs,
slightly beaten
5 cups milk
1 teaspoon
salt
Baco Bits
Instructions
Butter the bread
and cheese cube. Place bread and cubed cheese alternately in a baking dish. Beat
eggs, milk and salt. You may substitute frozen egg product if desired. Pour
over bread and cheese. Place in refrigerator overnight. Sprinkle with Baco
Bits. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
